The name Electra Somos was received in the dreamscape to encapsulate Yasmin’s offerings.
Electra, meaning “shining” or “bright,” in Greek.
Somos, meaning “we are” in Spanish.
In union they allude to the remembrance: we are sparks of the divine.
We draw upon a rich tapestry of modalities, including yoga, meditation, kinesiology, energetics and homeopathy, to offer resources that cultivate your inner landscape, guiding you to become the architect of your own reality.
Expansion, liberation, empowerment, and alignment are the forces that shape our vision and offerings. We endeavour to awaken each individual’s innate gifts, seed them within the community, and weave a legacy for generations to come.
This is the collective symphony at the heart of Electra Somos’ mission.
FOUNDING story
Following a childhood hallmarked by endless doctor and hospital visits, more antibiotic prescriptions than one can count, and playdates accompanied by nebulisers, Yasmin’s family reached a breaking point. Her complex childhood illnesses spanned over 12 years, yielding few positive results.
Through sheer determination and a will to treat the root cause, her mother, Lindy, forged an exploration into natural medicine.
This unconventional path unexpectedly led to remarkable success using homeopathy and naturopathy.
Lindy soon anchored into her calling and devoted her life to pursuing mastery in an array of holistic modalities, imbibing their family home with medicinal flowers, elixirs, tinctures, sacred texts, and treasures from across the globe. Yasmin fondly recalls, “I still distinctly remember the day she came home from her time working in a homeopathic hospital in Goa—the mystic gleam of India in her eyes and the chink of the bottles piled in her hands for the dispensary. In that moment, my inner compass cemented, deepening my devotion to the Art of homeopathy.”
EVOLUTION of practice
Deeply inspired by her mother’s impact on clients and her own lived experience with holistic health, Yasmin embarked on new horizons to become a second-generation homeopath.
After graduating high school, she enrolled in Nature Care College in 2007 to begin her homeopathic studies and continued on to complete her Bachelor of Health Science (BHSc) through the university.
From there, her studies ranged from yoga at her second home, Modern Movement, to Neuro-Training with Kinesiology at the College of Neuro-Training, alongside an extensive repertoire of quantum and energy-based modalities.
With intentional refinement over the last 20 years, Yasmin has organically crafted her own signature 1:1 Quantum Kinesiology sessions. She has been co-creating behind the scenes with clients who have most often described these sessions as “life-changing” and “incredibly profound.”
PRESENT day
Electra Somos holds the vision and mission to equip households with homeopathic medicines and complementary offerings to foster empowerment, education, and awareness while imparting generational knowledge, root-change impact, and self-led healing.
A quiet pause on Quantum Kinesiology sessions is currently creating space to weave these sacred, vibrational threads of homeopathic medicines into the community.
